Bartlett pears are a popular pear available from late-August until mid to late October. Bartlett pears are popular for eating fresh and canning, as well as for desserts. They are green and crunchy when picked and turn a golden yellow when they ripen.

Bosc
SOLD OUT FOR THE SEASON
Bosc pears are picked beginning in mid-September and they are available through the winter months. Bosc pears are a russet-colour and remain firm when ripe. They are a sweet and juicy pear with a firmer texture. Bosc pears are popular for eating fresh, as well as being added to salads, baked and poaching.
